The ExxonMobil Foundation is the primary philanthropic arm of the Exxon Mobil Corporation.
ExxonMobil supports programs targeted to worldwide health issues, specifically malaria, because we believe that good health is a springboard to opportunity, achievement and development.
Our strategic focus in education is on math and science, since they are now — and will increasingly be — the universal languages of the global workplace and are critical tools for success in today’s high-tech world.
Healthy and educated communities in which all citizens have the opportunity to play a valuable and productive role help create a stable and prosperous environment for business to work in.
We are committed to promoting respect for human rights and to serving as a positive influence in the communities where we operate.
Our multitiered approach focuses on capacity building through creating jobs; educating and training; purchasing; and investing in each community.
Our worldwide spending includes contributions to nonprofit organizations as well as funds invested in social projects through various joint-venture arrangements, production-sharing agreements, projects operated by others, and contractual social bonus arrangements.
