Electrical & Instrumentation Technician (Zwijndrecht)

As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician at our site in Zwijndrecht, you are responsible for the safe maintenance and repair of very diverse equipment, ranging from the 24V pure instrumentation level to 36KV high voltage installations at our chemical plants, with the goal of continuous improvement of the integrity, reliability and availability of the plants.

This ranges from pressure, flow, vibration, temperature elements, DCS, PLCs, engines to high voltage installations. During a maintenance shutdown, you will function as a job leader. This means that you must be able to handle the various maintenance tasks, both independently and in a team. In addition you take care of the (partial) preparation, safe execution, support, and administrative follow-up of the task.

Job requirements:

- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in mechanics, electromechanics, maintenance techniques or equivalent experience

You are/have:

Some safety leadership • Relevant work experience in a petrochemical environment is an advantage • Knowledge of pump, compressor, blower, packaging machine maintenance. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office • Basic English language skills • Able to work independently and as part of a team
