Energievoorziening

If there is anything that the world will need in the coming years, the (more) energy. According to recent forecasts from ExxonMobil, matching the estimates of the International Energy Agency (IEA), energy consumption between 2000 and 2030 rose by about 60 percent. This demand compliance costs money, lots of money. ExxonMobil estimates the necessary investments in the period 2001-2030 alone, to meet the growing demand for oil, at more than $ 3000 billion!

The fossil fuels oil, natural gas and coal will still have to continue to play a leading role in the energy supply. But not the only role: all kinds of energy can help to cope with the strong demand growth.

It is clear that we need not only capital but also new innovative technology dependent. This requires a constant focus on research and development of technologies Packaging not only work but also will be commercially viable.
